Pupil Involvement

The school has a thriving School Council.  Each year, children in classes 2-6 elect two class representatives.  The children are encouraged to be involved with the running of their school and any issues they wish to raise or suggestions they wish to make are considered by the whole of the Council Body and appropriate action is taken.  This gives the pupils a feeling of ownership as they know their views are valued, discussed and acted upon.

The school council are very proactive in raising funds for the school, PFA and charity events.

In addition to School Council opportunities, there are plenty of other ways for children to get involved in school life :-

  • Sports Leaders
  • Buddy System
  • Playground Leaders
